Back in January, Nigerian heiress and budding pop star, Bim Fernandez, launched her career with her flute-driven dance/rock single, ‘Let’s Take It Naked’. Now that summer is in full effect, the bubbly track finally gets it’s visual and man, it’s definitely something.
Upon the first listen of ‘Let’s Take It Naked’, the song was screaming “summer hit”. With it’s full pushing happening this month, things are only getting started with it’s highly NSFW music video. In Bim’s first music video, things are a little…psychedelic. As an artist, you’re debut has to make a punch. Well, if the ‘Let’s Take It Naked’ music video doesn’t make a punch, then what will? Between strutting around a bumpin’ house party pregnatnt (DISCLAIMER: Bim Fernandez is not pregnant, come on…get real), to cooking meth, to playing Russian Roulette, the music video is actually pretty ironic. Everyone has these pre-conceived notions about Bim. She’s spoiled, she’s a party animal, she doesn’t give a fuck. Well, the last one’s true, but the rest are far from. So, why not spin all of those false characteristic in the most out of control way possible. Pretty genius! And can we stop a marvel in how gorgeous she looks…even with a fake baby bump? Bim, can we be your baby daddy?
